Install Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread on Samsung Galaxy ACE S5830 with Video Guide

Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread update is now available for  Samsung Ace S5830. Procedure for rooting is explained below.

Downloads

• USB Drivers , Download Link
• S5830XWKPO.rar Password - samfirmware.com | Download link 123.5 MB
• Odin 4.38 software Download Link 
• Download ops file Download Link
• Charge your phone battery up to a good level
• Take complete backup of all your mobile data

Steps

1. Install the Samsung USB drivers
2. Unzip the main firmware file & ops file and you will see these five files 

APBOOT_S5830XWKPO_CL400247_REV03_user_low_true.tar.md5,

CODE_S5830XWKPO_CL400247_REV03_user_low_true.tar.md5,
Cooper_v1.0.ops,
GT-S5830-csc-LUXKP1.tar.md5,
 MODEM_S5830XWKP7_CL407346_REV03.tar.md5,

3. Shut down Samsung Kies completely
4. Install Odin 4.38 and run it
5. Switch off your Samsung ACE

6. Hold Volume down key + Home button key and switch on to goto download mode
7. Connect your phone to USB
8. You will get the message “Added! !” under the Odin’s message box

9. Put these files in Odin:

OPS = Cooper_v1.0.ops,

 Boot = APBOOT_S5830XWKPO_CL400247_REV03_user_low_true.tar .md5

Phone = MODEM_S5830XWKP7_CL407346_REV03.tar.md5,

PDA = CODE_S5830XWKPO_CL400247_REV03_user_low_true.tar.md5

CSC = GT-S5830-csc-LUXKP1.tar.md5

10. press start to begin  and when phone gets restarted, disconnect it.
